Fun

It's hot. Thats all there is to say. Our place now doesn't have insulation and we have been surviving by fans and small A/C units. Baca has been doing his two summer classes and his part time job. I have been searching for a job but have had yet to get any call backs. It has been a nice break though. Bruce has needed some attention lately b/c he had an accident. Tues morning (about 2 am) Baca took him outside to go potty. We have a ledge right when we step out our door that leads to the front yard. Bruce couldn't see and took a dive about 4 feet landing on concrete stairs. I didn't get much sleep that night :( We took him to the vet and he got sedatives and everything was ok. We headed home and found that he couldn't use his jaw. I mean this dog looked retarded. He acted retarded too. He was a bit loopy with the meds. He was pretty pitiful and so I headed baaack to the vet to check him out. yet again, he was ok. I had to feed him with a tube for the rest of the day.







During this time we had to help Robert and April move. (How we met- Ape was my old roomate from the dorms and Broadmore apartments. When we met, I knew she wasn't from Utah because her thick southern accent. It slapped me across the face when she opened her mouth. Ever since the dorms we always had a blast. Susel and I knew Robert from practically living at their apartment while dating our hubby's at the time. We had brought Ape over one day hoping sparks would fly with Roberto. Ape and Rob had an instant connection. They had a bumpy ride of a relationship at the beginning but man, they sure are good together. We got many thanks at their wedding for helping these two get together. We have all been bridesmaids at each others weddings :D) So, April and Robert just got married and Robert has to do dental school out in Pittsburg. We only helped a bit b/c of school, dog and work. Midnight came rolling around and I finally got to stop by and say goodbyes to Ape and Roberto. We both hung out in their big empty apartment talking and just burnt out from the day. I must admit I was too tired for tears when I left but, I am extremely sad they had to move. It felt like we were really starting to be better friends and bam, they are gone. I am hoping Linda, my other lova will stick with the airport long enough for me to give them a visit out in PITTSburg. I will miss you guys soooo much!
