The reunion

For about two years Janell has been on a Mission in Cali and finally got back about 2 months ago. We were excited to hear that she is moving back to Utah and going back to school. We texted for a couple of days and I let her know I would help with finding an apartment when she got here. That day came and we met up at the institute. Finally seeing each other, I got pummeled into with a big hug. After laughing and catching up for a bit we head off to look at an apartment option. The house was very cute and redone (it was for sale and I so wish I could have bought it). The landlord though..a little crazy. That one was off the list. The next one was literally down the street. It was a basement apartment and she would share it with another girl. Bing bing! We had a winner. We had actually been in that house for ward prayer many years ago! She would still be in the 28th ward but I think she will be ok with that. Janell and her bro were hungry and I tagged a long to Cafe Rio (she hasn't had it in forever) and I got to sit and watch them eat delicious food ( I already ate unfortunately). Her bro never had a 7/11 Slurpie before so we headed to the sev. I got dropped off to clean my apartment before they came to see it. It was a disaster zone with 3 dogs and a crappy week of figuring out school stuff and job stuff (thus my previous email about hating school). I got it done in record time (2 hours hahah)! As I let the dogs out for a bit of play one of our ward members /neighbors came walking down the street with Ella, his 20 month old daughter. He stopped and we chatted for a bit. I made sure to invite him over to play some games with baca (he is in law school so I knew he would want a break lol). Hopefully they will take us up on that offer! Janell and her bro came back and we got out the DS's for J and I while B and the bro played some Gears. We then headed to Villiage Inn to get some piiiiie and get out for a bit. The Office was on everyone's mind when we got back and we downloaded it all on the comp. After a couple of episodes everyone was tired and they headed out. It was a really long day of running around for me but I sure did enjoy hangin out with Janell. She seems a lot happier and I am grateful I can have her as a friend.

We were sending April pics of us at Villiage Inn b/c they don't have any out in Pittsburg. We made sure to mention how good the Strawberry crepes were too :P!
