A loooooooong week!

This week has been a really long week! First of all- Wes is moving to Salt Lake, Ken had surgery for his Achilles tendon, and mama is in town to take care of Ken. It started as a very busy Monday at work for me (which was great! I love staying busy) and visiting with mama. Tuesday morning I woke up to a flat tire!! I called my mom to take me so I wouldn't be as late to work if I took tracks or fixed the flat. Ten minutes later mom called saying- I can't pick you up! I just got in a an accident! She was only 4 blocks down the road (everyone was ok) so Baca and I run down the road (almost slipping plenty of times). I also remember calling my boss Brooke about 2 or 3 times to tell her all that happened! After making it to the accident mom reminded me that Ken had to leave for surgery in about 20 min! Mom had to stay at the accident while I took Ken to the doctor and sit and listen to all the medication instructions for him. I finally got Baca to school and had to go and pick up my mom to dropp her off at Enterprise. Finally- off to work...4 hours late!! That day kicked off the rest of the long week. A very tiresome week.

So far just working and trying to survive! My job has been great and I love everyone who works there. I am really grateful the way things turned out. I am actually taking pride in my work and trying to enjoy life for once! Its hard not to worry about money when you don't have a lot of it but, I just need to sit back and let things happen sometimes. Baca is almost finished with this semester and has done pretty well so far. We may not be able to afford a house, or are ready for kids, but we have eachother and thats all we need for now (and our ugly pugs :P).
