So, like in my previous post I have been doing P90X for the past (almost month!) 3 weeks. I have done the before pics and a couple recent ones. Although I can FEEL the difference, the pics can say a little has happened (of course not as much as I wanted but hey- it takes time). I even weighed myself and Wessys and found that I actually weighed...BUM BUM BUM!!!....the SAME! Argh, not really too discouraging because of the fact that muscle weighs more and I always gain weight when I work out. Still, I needed a pick me up to keep me blastin through this 90 days of sweaty, grueling, muscle aching, pms'ing face (yea breaking out b/c of all the sweat) routine. As I look at the calendar on the fridge and look at all the slashes of the days I did the workouts, I see a piece of torn paper with my
measurements! I had done measurements of mainly my midsection(the areas I really cared about, wish I had done my arms). Boy was I scared...I thought "man, if I go measure and its the same, this would really suck balls". My curiosity got the best of me as I got my sewing kit out to find the tool. I start at my midsection and find it was about the same as I remembered..but wait. I look at the paper again to find it is a 2" difference!! Ahh Victory! A result I can SEE! In my midsection I am 2" down and my rib area is 1" down! My legs and thys are the same (which is fine, I measured around my butt and upper thy) and those are areas I want to GROW, bigger butt, more muscle in my legs. I have noticed I am starting to get a butt when I wear jeans (thanks to those heinous squats!). For how up and down life has been, its a good thing to know something is changing for the better. I am almost at my 30 days, next will be 60, and then 90.
See ya on the cover of downward dog magazine :P

No, this isn't me- yet.. (just bigger boobs. lol)

Way to go Taren! I'm so proud of you! It's hard to stick to a strict workout routine for as long as you have. I am impressed and can tell you're going all the way to 90! And geez, you were already drop dead gorgeous. ;-) But now you'll feel just as healthy as you look.
