Art...and Golf

Saturday I went to Andreas (my soon to be sister in law) bridal shower.  Darla and I carpooled and of course going somewhere new I got lost.  We ended up getting there 45 min late and had to leave after just an hour of hanging out.  It was a nice get together with lots of interesting stories and pictures!  It was a great time and I can't wait for the wedding!!

Later B and I had some fun with Tyler and Emily going to an art exhibit that involved golf.  I thought it might be a walk around and just look but thankfully you got to play some mini golf!  It was a really cool exhibit!  I should have brought our camera but all I had was my phone.  Thus the pics aren't the greatest :P
This was some of the exhibits

Baca, Ty,and Em rocking exhibit #2.  All where a bit difficult :)
This one was tricky.  We eventually gave up and kind of 'led' the ball closer to the hole!

Em trying to get her ball in the hole!

Tyler and Emily getting their skillz on

It took us about an hour to get through the whole thing!  Very fun and FREE :)  After the masters tourny, we headed to their place and hung out for a while.  Not too many Redboxes were out so we put on the Fugitive and played some poker.  Baca has been fixated on this game for the past week and bought a cheap set of plastic chips and cards.  They got the goods and some snacks and we went at it!  At first I did really well and cleaned 'em out.  After a while my luck wore thin and I lost a lot.  Both Emily and I were still learning/remembering the game so we went with the flow most of the time.  Tyler on the other hand has played a lot so he knows how to bluff.  Baca had it going for a while but he was out of chips midway  through :)  Good thing we don't really gamble huh?  Thanks for the fun night guys, we will get a card table soon so we can really get going on poker nights!

I know, that day was soooo fun! You guys are the perfect couple to do stuff like that with; I'm never bored with Baca's off the wall comments or your laughter and optimism. And I was telling Tyler, games are so much better than just sitting on the couch watching the movie. The Fugitive made great background entertainment. ;-) I am up for more poker anytime!
