There are Some Angels at the U

(Insert cute and innocent angel picture here.  Apparently when looking for 'angels' you find lots of naked women with wings...but hey, you know what kind of angels I mean lol)

         We got our appeal.  It passed.  We are in the clear.  This past semester we got a letter saying Baca had passed his time limit at the U and would no longer get financial aid.  Meaning- no grants, and no loans.  He would lose his work study job and we would have to find somewhere to get loans.  He would have to find a part time job to work around his schedule.  Praise the Lord.  We are grateful that doesn't have to happen!  We got the email yesterday that the hold will be lifted and he can apply for financial aid.  This is a relief.  We have already had struggles when it comes to money.  My works insurance sky rocketed and it is preventative so it isn't the greatest if something happens.  Baca still has another year to go in school.  Yadda, yadda, yadda.  It feels good something has gone our way.  I want the new year to be a good one and to start off right!

Had to get a squish face for my brother Wes.  I was raised with him doing this to my face ALL the time.  I mean it..everyday, I got my cheeks squished (still do to this day).  Now we can squish our own child's cheeks.  How exciting!

         June went to the doctor yesterday to see the dermatologist.  It was the fastest doctor visit EVER.   We were in and out within 20 min.  The doctor was sweet, took a look, and we decided to just watch her raspberry and go from there.  The good/bad thing about the mark, is that it is not on her face/eye so it won't bother her there.  Sadly, it is on her private part... How embarrassing.  Just kidding, it is more funny than anything.  They say it fades after a year or so.  She was up to 8lbs 112 oz!  She is getting so big and looking like a small yet fluffy babe.  We have had such fun times watching her smile and coo.  Her sleep habits are doing pretty good, she will have a good spurt of 9-4 and then sometimes 9-1 then 1-4.  We love her dearly and enjoy watching her grow.
