It has been a fun weekend! Kim came to visit so we had a larger group than just Baca and I. Friday we went out to eat at Hong Kong Tea House with Kim, Ken, Darla, Baca and I. Sesame chicken there ROCKS. Afterwards Kim and Ken came to our place to chill and see the pups before we headed out to see fireworks. After about 2 hours of hangin out and telling Kim she HAS to watch Jaws (she had never seen it before-it's a classic!), it was time to see the wonderful tnt in the sky. We went to Darla's to park (about 8 blocks away-ughh). After the uphill walk (nothing bad just hot) we found a spot to watch the sky light up. Ken got a snow cone and we all helped him finish it :P It was suppose to start at 9:30 but ended up starting at 10. The fireworks were really good! The aftermath was crazy though, streets were blocked by crowds of people. I don't have any pics of the fireworks but it was still a lot of fun!
BBQ- Saturday was a tiresome day from the late night fireworks. We headed to Millcreek and found a beautiful spot to grill and chill. We had chips, chicken, lamb, veggies- all the goods. It was a nice day and Darla brought her hammock. I enjoyed a nice nap with Bruce on that hammock! It was a gooood weekend! Thanks for the all the fun Kenny poooooo <3!!!
