Front (really bad roof!)
The fireplace when you walk in
What used to be the shower (you can see some of the basement! lol)
The "liveable" attic
The basement bathroom/I think kitchen area
The basement fireplace (to the right would be space for two bedrooms)
The backyard. It is on a small street and is already partially fenced
Hahaha, yea its pretty funny huh? B and I only live a couple blocks away from this diamond in the rough! It is about 700 S. 1100 E. It is as of now the ugliest house on the block. It's surrounded by pretty family homes who keep their houses looking good. We were driving home one day and saw this beauty and fell in love. The house is ok (a.k.a-poor)- but the location is ideal. We really love this area! As we went up to the house to get a peek in the windows we could see the "good parts" of the house. After taking a look neighbors were walking and we sparked a conversation (YES- they actually were NICE people who talked to us- that was my favorite part. I want that so bad!). Supposedly an old guy used to live there and then got sent to a home. The house sat for years and water damage accrued. Investors then took it and started to flip it but realized it was too much money. I called the agent and convinced her to gimme the code to check out the house. Lets just say...you need to have some balls to even handle that project. The good thing was it had a back entrance to the basement. The basement was big enough for a 2 bedroom 1 bath and a small kitchen. It even had a fireplace! this would be for renting out. It was aaaaall water damaged. There were a couple of holes in the floor on the first floor. It has an upstairs attic that they say is livable space. The whole roof has to be torn off and replaced ( I would make the roof higher to actually make it livable space). b and I just dreamed of what it could be. Sadly it could never happen but it was nice to imagine having a chance to own a home and fix it up.
