Halloween :D

So Halloween has been full of fun, FOOD (lots), and running around! These pics are not in any kind of order b/c well...it was too hard to move em around :P.  Baca ended up being the same Joker from last year while I found a good deal on a cute Rag Doll outfit. Friday night I was determined to get out and go dancing or at least to some parties.  Baca and I had been running around for the last pieces of our outfits and having somewhat of a date.  We were at the Gateway for a while that day lol.  Later, we decided the cheapest and probably most fun for us would be to go to Crimson Nights at the U.  It was already about 10 pm when we got there.  We walked around checking out costumes, Baca eventually went out to the dance floor with me (lol mostly standing there) while I danced.  It was a pretty good party and all we needed was to get out for a bit.  I didn't have any shoes that matched my outfit, so I ended up wearing bunny slippers..Yea, at first I thought they would be comfortable but, after a bit of walking and dancing I found they are more of a hazard (I couldn't keep them on for one) and they were killing my feet due to no support.  Still - much better than some of the high heels I was considering.  We headed for the car to find Baca didn't have his glasses....Oh no. I surely thought they were on the dance floor being crushed and kicked around by now.  Baca couldn't see really at all (specially at night) so I had to drive back up to the Union.  As my anger started to build on remembering the old times of how Baca used to loose his wallet every other week (and I ended up looking for it everytime b/c he gave up after 5 min lol) I got out of the car to begin the search.  Thankfully Baca was thinking they were in the parking lot.  I caught a glimpse and found the glasses on a pile of leaves on the parking lot.  WHEW.  I was grateful I didn't have to go in the Union to search in a dark place for those dang things (no insurance so they were paid for OUT of pocket).  We then headed home and slept in.

  Saturday was a morning of getting my eye exam and glasses.  During my period of waiting for my glasses, Josh and Susel came to the Gateway to say hi.  We grabbed a quick bite, got my glasses, then walked around for a while.  Time came for Tyler and Emilys get together and we ran home to change and head out.  We got there and all I can say is I gained about 2 lbs.  I ate all of her snacks.  ALL of them.  This week has been downhill for both working out and diet.  I figured I would have had some trouble due to candy and awesome food but, I let go lol.  Even after everyone at the party left, we stuck around and hung out with Tyler and Emily (Lincoln had to go night night) talking most of the time.  By the time we got out it was too late to go to Bacas parents (its been a tradition to go up and hand out candy to trick or treaters).  Sadly, when we talked to Deb the next day she said they had about 200 kids!!  I wanted to hand out candy so bad!  We didn't have any at our place (only two came while we were at Tyler and Emilys).  Ah well, next year!  After arriving home we got a call from Josh and Susel (they just got out of the U game) and they wanted to hang out. We picked em up, went to their place, took some pics and tried to decide what to do for the rest of the night.  Everyone decided to go to Taco Bell after seeing a commercial saying you can get a free black taco from 9-midnight on Halloween.  After getting the tacos Susel wanted some desert so we stopped at Chilis.  It was short and sweet, we then dashed to block buster to finish our traditional Halloween- scary movie.  UGH!  I can't watch em, but I sure will pretend :P  The Haunting in Conneticut is what was decided.  After about 15 min into the show, I figured then would be the best time to shut my eyes and get some sleep.  Too bad the freakin music wouldn't let me sleep!  My mind would wander and imagine the scene as the music slowed or stopped...waiting for that fatal jump to scary noise!  Lets just say- I didn't even watch the movie and I had nightmares..lucky me :)  It was time to end Halloween, Josh and Susel left around midnight and I had to stay up and finish watching 30 rock and The Office so my mind wouldn't be stuck on the scary movie.  It was a good weekend and I am glad I got out and had some fun this year!   ENJOY THE PICS!
