Time is a Flyin'

She always laughs at the pugs when they walk around and play.  Floyd usually doesn't stay put for these sorts of things but I had to get a quick pic :)

She is starting to lunge forward!  Crawling is next, it won't be too long!

This I think was last month in April sometime.  She is just so cute!

June is starting to talk (just making funny sounds out of that cute mouth) and eat more solids.  We haven't experimented too much with foods but I think her favorite is Mango so far.  She has been good when she is sitting and playing by herself.  Although she's to the point of wanting more attention when we walk away.   She is up to 8 whole months!  My favorite time of day is to wake her up.  I sing a good morning tune and she slowly works her eyes open.  Even before they are open she has a smile and wiggles around trying to wake up.  I love taking her places because she is great and will take in all the surroundings.  She is like mama and just needs to get out sometimes!  

We did get a visit from my brother Wes these past 3 days.  He got to see June for the second time.  He mentioned this time she actually had a face and didn't look like a little doll.  So very true, the child has bulked up and gotten some curves compared to what she was at birth!  She quickly warmed up to Wes and he got some good smiles out of her.  I totally forgot my camera the two times we got together :P  I hope he got some on his cell.  Thanks for the visit bro!!  <3

Some of her favorite toys are:  Books- mainly the coupon books we give her to throw around and just something she can turn the pages with.

-The Crab:  it's little eyes squeak and it rattles

-The Caterpillar

-She loves water bottles, tissue boxes, anything that we didn't spend money on for her pleasure lol...

  

Some of her favorite foods:  Mango was the first food she really opened her mouth for.

-Peaches

-She doesn't mind mixed veggies too much either

What soothes her:  - I have come to find she is a 'distraction baby'.  She doesn't want to be comforted, she just wants to be distracted .

-Twinkle Twinkle- its the youtube video of twinkle twinkle little star.  This kid loves it.  It will take her off however horrible a tantrum.
